Our Commitment
At Kassy Home Health, our promise of kindness, delivered with care extends to everyone — including patients, family members, caregivers, and job applicants who use assistive technologies or who experience disability in any form. We are committed to ensuring that kassyhealth.com is accessible to people of all abilities, and we work continuously to maintain and improve the user experience for everyone.
Standard We Follow
Kassyhealth.com is designed and maintained to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the technical standard adopted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in:
- Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 — 45 C.F.R. Part 84, §§ 84.84–84.85 (final rule published May 9, 2024; 89 FR 40066), with which Kassy must comply by May 11, 2026; and
- Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act — 45 C.F.R. § 92.204 (final rule published May 6, 2024; 89 FR 37522).
We also incorporate WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria where feasible, and we follow the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title III) and the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992. As a Medicare-certified home health agency, Kassy is also bound by the patient-rights and accessibility standards at 42 C.F.R. § 484.50.
What This Means for You
Kassyhealth.com is built and maintained so that:
- All meaningful images carry text alternatives (alt text);
- Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA ratios;
- Pages are navigable using keyboard alone;
- Pages are compatible with screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge;
- Headings, landmarks, and form labels are programmatically associated;
- Video content includes captions; audio content includes transcripts; and
- Content is responsive and works with browser zoom up to 200%.
Conformance Status
Kassyhealth.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate any remaining gaps in advance of the May 11, 2026 federal compliance deadline.
Known Limitations
We are committed to honesty about gaps. We are actively addressing the following:
- Some legacy PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible. Please request an accessible alternative using the contact information below; we will provide one promptly and free of charge.
- A small number of third-party embedded tools (e.g., scheduling widgets, mapping widgets) are tested for accessibility separately, and we are working with vendors to complete remediation.
- Older blog or news content predating January 2024 may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Updates are ongoing.
If you encounter any other accessibility barrier on kassyhealth.com, please tell us — we want to fix it.
Alternative Formats and Reasonable Modifications
If you need any information from this Site or any of our printed materials in a different format — large print, accessible electronic format, audio recording, braille, or otherwise — Kassy will provide it free of charge and in a timely manner. We also provide qualified sign language interpreters and other auxiliary aids at no cost.
