Kassy Home Health complies with applicable federal civil rights laws, the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992 (Fla. Stat. Chapter 760), and the Florida Patient's Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. § 381.026). Kassy does not exclude people from, or treat them differently in, our health programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency and primary language), sex, age, or disability. We also do not discriminate on the basis of religion, pregnancy, familial status, marital status, or source of payment.
We provide:
- Free aids and services to people with disabilities so they can communicate effectively with us — including qualified sign language interpreters and written information in alternate formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, and other formats); and
- Free language assistance services to people whose primary language is not English — including qualified interpreters and written translations.

How to File a Discrimination Grievance
If you believe Kassy has failed to provide these services or has discriminated against you in another way, you may file a grievance with our Section 1557 Coordinator:

You may file your grievance in person, by mail, fax, or email. If you need help filing, the Coordinator will assist you. Kassy will respond to your grievance promptly and equitably.
